River Rocks Notts

I know this is late..! Last month i went to the River Rocks Notts fashion show in association with River Island at Escusha bar. It was such a good night and Anna and the other girls did such a good job. I loved the cupcakes as we arrived and the goodie bags and the show its self was amazing.

DONE.

Friday is my uni deadline so the past few weeks have been mental. Lisa and i have literally JUST finished our report and it is my favourite piece of uni work so far! I'll post some screen shots of it at some point. We were chosen to present our presentation to the Brand Manager at Jonathan Aston, and did that this morning- i think it went well! Now it's just the finishing touches to my portfolio then i am DONE!!!! i can't believe 2nd year is over already.

shoots in the woods always remind me of stuff i've done in the past. i love how all the branches show up on camera, especially in black and white, so all in all this shoot is pretty amazing.

Lace.

I found this image on Fashion Squad blog and i actually love it. I love the mix of lace with sequins and the heavy lipstick and the intimate composition. The model looks incredible.

Today has been a rubbish day so far. We have a new Nokia brief and its basically rubbish, so george and i practically begged people to give us our their numbers! Plus it looks like its about to rain egh!

Summer Blues.

Seriously, i can not wait for the weather to get nice. Right now, the summer seems so far away. I really love the innocence of this shoot, and its something that i would like to capture in one of my photoshoots this summer.

These photographs by Mert and Marcus- who i just blogged from the Givenchy fall 2010 campaign are incredible. The colours, the static-ness of the models, the compositions all reallly remind me of the amazing photographer Guy Bourdin, whose work i studied loads for A level photography. I've read some of the reviews people have posted about this shoot, most people feel its quite controversial, but i love it when photographers take risks and i really love the outcome here.

Our Jonathan Aston project is still going alright, but i actually can't wait for it to be over and for the summer to begin. Check out these amazing tights. A really amaizng pair of tights really do bring something extra to a photoshoot and can almost become the focal part of the image. i love

Naomi Campbell by Miguel Reveriego.

I'm loving all the photoshoped images at the moment. Its nice to see something different and edited in a more interesting way. The theme of pop art really shows in this image and Naomi Campbell looks pretty damn amazing as usual.

On the train back to Nottingham today i was planning photoshoots in the summer and have some pretty amazing ideas for styling and on Saturday i visited a photography exhibition in Guildford and got some really interesting ideas for locations.
