I'm so glad Chanel have finally brought out a new campaign for my FAVOURITE perfume Coco Mademoiselle, because i was getting really bored of seeing Knightly's ridiculously over airbrushed body. Whereas Knightley looks a-mazing here. :)

Work.
For my DVC dissertation i have chosen to investigate the Future of Fashion, in particular looking at how brands are currently utalising the internet and what new technology will be influencing fashion brands in the future. This has lead me to research things like Fashion Film, which i have become to be facinated by, Live Streaming of fashion shows, How brands are using Mobile Phones and crazy new technology like 'try it on' and 'Sourcemap 0.8' If you have any thoughts, let me know!
Check out the Chanel 'Remember Me' film by Karl Lagerfeld. One of my favourites.

Chanel go GaGa

Chanel Haute Couture. Spring/Summer 2010
It seems Chanel have not only been taking inspiration from ancient Greece and the Baroque era this season, Lady GaGa influences are shining through. From the hair anyways! Who doesn't l.o.v.e Chanel? Chanel is the elite, the stuff dreams are made of! But wow their Haute Couture is equally as amazing. Muted Hues and neutural tones are literally everywhere this season. I know what i'll be spending my Christmas Topshop voucher on...

Chanel Sprinng/Summer 2010 Advertising

Photographer: Karl Lagerfeld
Models: Claudia Schiffer, Baptiste Giabiconi, Freja Beha Erichsen.
Chanel have done it again. (well minus the Lily Allen thing they had going on which i can forgive them for!) They always get their advertising so right. They cleverly get their brand personality to shine to through exactly how you imagine the brand to be. What i Love about this set of advertising, shot by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld is the colour of the images, kind of dark and mysterious but fits in with the happenings and style of the scene perfectly. Its kind of like understated glamour thats not in your face like the Gucci adverts, it has that poise that Chanel depicts.

Faking it!

I found this picture on Jak and Jil's blog the other day and i loved the idea of it. Karl Lagerfeld doesn't stop getting it right! The Chanel SS10 collection saw the models wearing fake tattoos of Chanel braclets. I think its so effective. Ooooh how i love Chanel!
This tattooed effect is like the Steven Meisel shoot from Vogue Italia back in 2007.

Fifi Lapin
Only quite recently i have come across the blog Fifi Lapin! How cute is it!! I think its such an amazinnng idea and so creative! No wonder Topshop have teamed up with Fifi herself to appear on their christmas cards this year! i can defitnily see this being a sell out! In fact i want to go out and buy them now!

I love how she re-creates looks straight off the catwalk..its such a good idea and such a marketable idea! I can picture fifi lapin everything right now from socks to stationary to posters well to anything actually!!
Below is an example of Fifi Lapin in Chanel...

Fifi Lapin i love you.
