BEHIND THE SCENES.

Just a few pictures I managed to sneak from a few of the shows I worked at in between running around like a crazy person!

Mary Katranzou at the old Eurostar terminal at Waterloo station.

Giles: The first Giles photo shows what happened when all the guests left. Models on mass photoshoot! I was also positioned perfectly to capture the breathtaking finale.

Matthew Williamson finale (apologies for the awful photo) and the amazing Tate Modern turbine hall where the show was held.

LONDON FASHION WEEK DAY 5

DAY 5: Mary Katranzou, Emilio De La Morena, Amanda Wakeley, Charlotte Olympia Fashion Film Preview Party

Mary Katranzou was the first show of a very busy day. After an amazing collection last season, the pressure was on for Mary to create an equally amazing collection for all her new adoring fans. The show was held at the Topshop Show Space on Lower Thames Street. I loved the location, plus it was much warmer than last seasons location at the old Eurostar terminal in Waterloo! Guests were greeted with breakfast, coffee and fresh fruit smoothies courtesy of the very popular Topshop Cafe. The collection was a very cool mix match of prints on flowing mis-shapen dresses, trouser suits, peplums and jackets. The massive round of applause when Mary appeared at the end confirmed that she has nailed this season too. Go Mary!

My highlight: The incredible Christian Louboutin metalic shoe boots with stud details. Wow.

Guests Included: Yasmin Le Bon (in gorgeous Giles), Caroline Sieber in head to toe Chanel, Alexandra Shulman, Imran Ahmed, Hamish Bowles and Suzy Menkes.

Emilio De La Morena was held at the BFC Show Space at Somerset House which kind of disappointed me as last year Emilio was held in a car park which was really exciting. I am a massive fan of Emilio De La Morena, especially after last seasons collection and I think this season was equally as amazing. I loved the pops of red which seems to be everywhere at the moment, and i loved the high ruffled necks which was also spotted at Temperley London.

Plus shoes were created by the one and only.. Charlotte Olympia. Yum.

Amanda Wakeley was also held at the BFC Show Space at Somerset House. I wasn't a massive fan of the collection at the beginning which seemed to feature lots of black and black long haired pieces as seen at Giles this season, Emilio 2 seasons ago, at Willow and more. But i loved when the collection suddenly brought in pops of orange mixed with earthy camels. I especially loved the array of sophisticated coats, gold slouchy accents and use of orange.

My favourite event of Fashion Week (although i was just working on the door) was the Charlotte Olympia's Presentation of the film 'To Die For.' I helped set up with the A.Mazing Charlotte Dellal and her fabulous (the only word i could possibly use) mum- Andrea Dellal. The new collection is probably her best yet- which is definitely saying something, and features cats, impossibly high wedges, velvet, quilting and beautiful bold colours. The presentation was held at Marks Club- a private members club in Mayfair, the perfect setting to introduce the very sexy, yet mysterious film accompanying this seasons collection. The rooms were set up like a living room with the new collections shoes sprawled in cabinets, on coffee tables and in the alcohol cabinets. Guests drank Belveder Vodka, Tea, and ate mini sandwiches, pastries, and scones.

Guests included: The very fabulous Andrea Dellal, Olivia Palermo, Portia Freeman ( and star of 'To Die For') Edie Campbell, Suzy Menkes, some really friendly NYC 'it' girls, Bonnie Rakhit and more!

LONDON FASHION WEEK DAY 4

Day 4: Erdem and Giles
Erdem was our biggest show of the week. The location was the old Topshop space at P3, University of Westminster. So completely different to last season which was in a park! I've got some pics of the confusing, but very cool catwalk layout to come! Again the show was obviously beautiful, but seating guests was so hard as there was very little space to move! Anna Wintour attended (highlight of my life) who is also a massive Erdem fan. So did Samantha Cameron and every other major editor you can think of. The collection was amazing, velvet dresses of various lengths and shirts and trousers all adorned with what Erdem does best - beautiful prints.

Giles' location was a The Royal Court of Justice- amazing, although everyone had to go through airport style metal detectors. Giles is always a really fun show, but this season he brought sophistication mixed with beautiful feathers and a slight dominatrix-ness. Despite a US Vogue Editor walking out because he arrived late so couldn't get a seat, and watching Suzy Menkes trip over some wires, the show went perfectly, plus Giles had models of the moment Bambi walking for him as well as Jourdan Dunn and Anja Rubick.

Guests Included: Pixie Geldof, Alexander Wang, Jamie Winstone, Alexandra Shulman, Katie Grand plus loads more!
