Lanvin...

Model: Jamie Bochert
Photographer: Steven Meisel

Steven Meisel seems to be popping up everywhere this season, and it's a good job, he seems to be able to create these amazing compositions that work. What attracted me to Lanvins Spring/summer advertising is the movement the model has created. I keep going on about loads of new campaigns being just like all the others, so its refreshing to see something different and exciting. What i also love about these images is how they're all dark and moody..something you never see spring/summer! I like how there's no added gloss or shiny orange models...Gucci springs to mind. This movemnt created really shows off the garments in an amazing way.

Altogether...i love.

Givenchy

Check out this seasons Givenchy advertising. From memory I can't think what their stuff usually looks like? Probably not a good thing..but it seems this season Givenchy have followed the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Burberry and Prada and begun to use a mass of models. I really loved this style when it first came out with Dolce and Gabbana using it in September 2008, but now it seems to be over done and kind of lacking innovation. I do like the two trends that are shining through, kind of Smart Nautical..I've been searching FOREVER to find me a nice striped something..and finally one has entered my life! and the Something Wild trend as shown in the first one! Stay tuned for some more info on the trends this season.

The Girl Who Has it All...

Yes Kate Moss again. But just look at the campaigns and amount of brands she has fronted, and this is probably not even half! I really love the Longchamp campaigns she does, she always looks incredible...plus the bags..! And of course..my favourite- Burberry. Yum.

Kate.

Wow. That is all.

Golden Globes...

Ashley Olsen. Erdem Dress. Manolo Shoes. Fendi Bag. Chopard Jewellery.
I Love Ashley. And hello the Sex and the City Shoes! The blue is beautiful.
Annalyne McCord (aka Naomi Clark...90210) I've seen quite a few hand inspired things recently. This dress has to be my favourite out of the lot. She looks incredibly stunning, and that hand detail makes a massive impact.
Plus i've just got back into being obsessed with 90210 again!

Daria Werbowy...

I'm definitly loving the new Dsquared2 campaign. Geek chic hello! She looks amazing.

Above: This is why i LOVE Daria. She does that amazing thing with her shoulders! My friend Bex has a photo of Daria on her wall at home..and she looks incredible. I need to find out what issue it was from, you have to see it!!

Above: Stefanel 2010 Campaign. The lighting..wow. The neutral colour pallet keeps apearing everywhere this season. I need to get me some neutrals asap!

I Love Lily.

Above: Vogue August 2009
Model: Lily Donaldson
Photographer: Patrick Demarchelier
I ripped this shoot out from Vogue and have given it a whole wall of my lovely uni room to feature on. I actually love it. Maybe because i love Lily Donaldson and maybe because i have just been to paris but still! Its so beautiful. I love the high contrast, romance, styling and girl power it has. I literally stare at it when i'm bored. She is amazing.

YSL Love.

I have become a massive fan of YSL in the recent years, probably because of their love for black, and my love for black.
My New Years Resolution: Stop wearing so much black!
Plus i can not live without their mascara...probably because it smells so good. Anyways this seasons advertising...

I've always thought and hoped their advertising would be a bit more innovative. I like it, it kind of reminds me of LA sleek, probably from their previous stuff where they used the Hollywood sign...but altogether its kind of boring. I do really like the attitude that oozes from it however, especially the back shot, but i wish it has that extra something..just like the mascara! yum.

Supprise!

So, my amazing boyfriend supprised me the other day with 2 beautifully framed Old School Vogue Covers. The 1st, i've had a secret crush on forever..well since i watched Rankins 7 photos that changed fashion...Its Blumenfeld's massivly iconic cover that is actually incredible. It was so innovative for its time, and purely amazing. I've had it written in my text drafts since then, and have been meaning to print a copy off for my wall, and without Benjamin knowing this, he created a copy for me with his amazing skills :) I could not love it more! The 2nd was a beautiful Vogue Paris Cover of Twiggy from i think around the same time ish. She looks so beautifuly innocent and has butterflies around her. Best supprise ever? Yup!

Fresh Air...

I seem to be really enjoying Russian Haperrper's Bazaar right now. Check out this shoot shot by Hasse Nielsen to make you feel a little warmer in this horrible cold weather! (well minus the bare legs!)
